This fall and winter im going to breed out seeds from various strains and cross others and make some nice hybrids for my fellow growers to enjoy

Im building an indoor growroom another place than where i live and its partly functional now but still needs insulation, ventilation and carbon filter, but its functional for limited use but since i cant heat it up yet i decided to start germing some seeds at home, and when they're ready to be transplanted into pots the room should be insulated by then.

i have space and mini garden house space for 75 plants so i decided to run the first batch out of many this fall, winter and spring.

I picked a few essential Danish land races and some more exotic ones.

Royal Dane, ( early, weather and mold resistant land race)

Lebanon 27 aka Leb27, ( early, weather and mold resistant land race. Sativa dominated).

Tophaze #Green x ErdPurt aka Hazed ErdPurt, ( strains from Switzerland. grown and crossed by a skilled and highly respected Danish breeder).

White Widow grown indoor by a danish breeder and donated for this project ( breeder and donator name got lost in a deleted thread on DCF).

Jock Horror from Nirvana

Arjans Haze #1 by GSC, FEM ( a Seedbank send me FEM seeds by mistake. I gave up on returning them for normal NON FEM seeds as the seedbank's english is horrible, or they just pretend so?)

Nepalese Highland by ACESEEDS, donated by Maffe a skilled Danish grower.

BlueBerry grown indoor in Denmark and donated by Szyslack


First thing is the soil.
I made a mix with 12 liters unfertilized potting soil.
10 liters unfertilized peat moss called Sphagnum here
Then added 15 liters Perlite which is heat expanded lava stones.

First we add the potting soil.


Then the peat moss
( my oldest dog is watching and probably thinking; why is he playing with dirt? He should get me a bone instead)


When adding the Perlite my youngest dog is probably thinking the same thing.

At first this breeding project was ment to be a user chosen one, meaning that users from DFC, a Danish seedbank, would suggest crosses from the strain list and the most suggested ones would go to a voting poll where the most popular ones would be made first and then later donated to the seed bank.
But some problems regarding a seed give away project resulted in some banning and the end of using TOR proxy for visits.

I rely on TOR proxy for visiting Cannabis sites, esp in Denmark as our government passed some new laws that means every site we visit will be stored for up to one year for the police to see as a counter terrorist measure, at least so they claim- BIG BROTHER IS WATCHING).

I put my privacy and security above anything else, and therefore using friends addresses for receiving seeds and cannabis gear and always using a proxy to visit cannabis sites, so the end of using TOR proxy on DCF, also meant that its very hard for me to visit DCF although i wasnt one of the banned ones.

Since i was told that continuing the project here at Icmag, even though the seeds where still going to be donated for DCF, would result in a ban at DCF.
The original thread at DCF was deleted and some info esp on seed donators was lost
So i decided to bury the project.

Instead i choose myself what strains i wanna bred and crosses to make first, but im open for suggestions always.

Still gonna donate some of the seeds to DCF and danish users as give aways or seed swapping items.
Use them for seed swapping here and other places,also give some of them away to SeedBay as freebies and sell some of them there for a low price to spread the seeds all over the world.

This is the first seed run out of many and ill keep updating the seed list as it grows.

As stated before im more than open to suggestions on what seeds to germ next from the list as well as which crosses to make and also which seeds to multiply as pure seeds.

A few days later


Room is still a bit messy as im far from preparing it and still needs a proper floor, insulation and ventilation.
But i didnt wanna postpone the project anymore and its still usable and being worked on as the plants are growing.

Im using this lamp.
Its 175 cm long. 75 cm wide and has room for 2 600 watts hps bulbs.

A friend bought it in holland. Unfortunatly i cant find any shops that ships it to Denmark cause of the fragile design so if i need more of them i have to go get them myself in Holland.

Might be difficult to se under this hps light but 2 of the Arjans Haze#1 and a few others have been yellowing a little at the tops.
Natures way of saying they have had a little too much water last time so they werent watered Saturday as planned.
Ill look today of anyone of them are needing, otherwise i wont water them until Monday.
Also a few of the plants were showing small signs of light shock.
Tops were 85 cm from the bulbs.
I moved the lamp up so theres now 100 cm between the tops and the bulbs.
Ill inspect careful the next days if further adjustments are needed.

Might be difficult to see with pix taken from my cellular ( ill remember my Canon next time) and under the hps light but the Blue Berries are already showing some of their purple and blue colours.

Sorry to break my promise but i forgot to bring my digicam when i was by the grow room today, so you have to do with pix from from mobile phone.
I hope my digicam will also be less sensitive to the HPS stripes but time will tell.

Heres a little update from today.
Plants still showed small signs of light shock so i moved the lamp upwards and its now about 110 cm above the top of the plants.
Soil was still a little wet in most of the larger pots so i only gently wateret some of the small pots.
i took a few shots of the biggest and best looking plants from each strain.

unfortunately one of the HPS stripes are just clouding the stem and its a little difficult to see it, but both stem and start of the leaves are already showing purple colors.

Havent had time to germ the next seed batch yet and i should be getting a few more and exiting beans Wednesday so i think ill wait 2 more days cause there should be some very interesting strains and crosses among the awaited so i can put those in the next batch instead of waiting for number 3.

( i made a screwup regarding the first batch of Afghans and Afpurt. i dont have spoons with strain names but marks a corner and draw the seeds placement onto a paper. forgot to mark the corner on the tray with Afghans and AfPurt, so im not sure which is who now. first batch going to be only smoke then as im not taking any changes. Fortunately i had many Afghans seeds left and a kind donor stepped in and send me some new Afpurt seeds fast )

i still have room left for 40 more seeds.
A friend promised me new micro pots but they havent arrived yet.
Gonna make some new ones myself then with beercans and drilled holes in the button

Turned out later it was nutrient deficiency.

been very busy lately but heres a small update on the war against the mice

28/11 07

The war is being fought and those who chew my cannabis can chew on this!
So far it seems the critters are on the loosing team



Notice all the empty seed shells.
Those assholes have really enjoyed them selfs but its about to end now.
I might just have time to check the traps again tonight and take some more plant pix also


10/12 07

3 dead mice in total and no new ones in the traps for more than a week.
Seems like they have been eradicated for good now.
must have been a few that where hiding in the area that i sealed of when starting the grow room build

All plants are looking good.
Some minor issues with nutrients have been corrected as a few sativas showed symptoms.
Getting ph, moisture and light measuring gear in a few days so the problems can be solved earlier in the future.
the plants in the grow room are being set into bloom in a week or so and then the plants i have at home will be put up there 18/6 under better light then that i have at home which is more for germinating and the first few weeks.

hope to have time for a better update in next week

ve had some minor problems regarding nutrients lack symptoms.
Actually i think its a nutrient lockup due to PH problems rather than a nutrient problem.
Ive ordered some moisture and PH measuring gear that should arrive later this week, but to day ive bought some garden lime.

Any one has an idea on how much lime, for a safe doses until the measuring gear arrives, that i can dissolve in water and give them to stop the lockup before the gear can tell me exactly how the PH value is?

Normal doses for the lime is 1 kg for 3 m2 put in soil in the spring.
but how much should a dissolve in water pr liter and give the plants as a fast neutralizer before the fine tune can begin later with the measuring gear?

Any ideas on that?

Been busy with job, private doings, caring for the plants, working on grow room etc, but during the whole process ive been taking lotsa pix which will be in the major update on which is one its way, expect it before starting on work after new year.

Plants from first seed batch is now about 50 cm.
Should have been set to flower earlier but several things have prolonged it a bit, so they have been in growth longer than planned, im sure i have to watch the height of them late in bloom.

Temperature in grow room has been between 10-17 Celsius cause they room is only still partly insulated.
The room should have been finish insulated by now and split up into separate grow and flower room by now, but many factors have prolonged it, one main factor is that i didn't receive the last materials until last night, just to mention one.

Low temperature in grow room hasn't damaged plants or similar just made them grow a little slower.

Second seed batch has been placed in the grow room last night.
Third seed batch is being prepared at home as we speak.

From 10. December. outside temperature was -1, Room temperature was 15 and root temperature 12,8. all in Celsius of course. ( when grow room is fully insulated 25 degrees would be no problem being achieved from the hps bulbs alone)



Im using the Canna series and for the first time also the Unique series from Hanfburg.
So far only Canna Tera Vega and unique Root and Growth stimulator.
I also purchased PH soil, humidity and light measuring gear.

Not gonna cheat you folks for the promised major update, but until then heres some pix i took tonight after having worked on water supply and re potting the last plants from second seed batch.
haven't put 3. seed batch into soil yet, so theres still time to consider which ones to germ next( will be the last that im sure i will have ready for next season)

After watering with nutrients, root and growth stimulator and a little garden lime mixed with water, i did some test readings.
PH level around 6,75 and water level about right.
PH told me to keep adding garden lime for the next watering also.
test was done in a pot belonging to a Leb27

Some Afghans, some AfPurt, wasnt careful enough with strain marking in this particular grow tray, so im not sure which is which, so these are only for smoke.
Next ones are Deep Chunks.
Too bad my cellphone is too bad for closeups, but already in this early stage you can see the leaves are different from all the others.
Its why its nickname are also Death Cabbage.

In these pix there has been installed 220mm foam insulation under the plants and the temperatur is getting higher now, between 16-18 degrees most of the time.
The plants needs one more 2x600 watt lamp, but we are stressing the power to a max now and we only have one electrician we trust enough to install new power so we can install more lamps, and hes a busy man so atm we have to do with 2x600 for all of them.








Hopefully the rest of the insulation, more power and splitting the room into growth and flower section will be ready some time next week.

Fed canna skov du har der! Hvis jeg var den heldige ejer af den jugle ville jeg dog være bange for polisen : /

Mine potter er pt på 2 0g 3,5 liter.
Alt for små, men er ved at skaffe mig nogle egnede beholdere som jeg vil lave ca 11 liters potter af til når de forhåbentligt kan sættes i blomst i næste uge.
Lamperne dækker pt et for stort areal, men der trækkes al den strøm som der pt kan og skal have en elektrikker til at lave en gruppe mere så der kom komme flere lamper op både i det nuværende store rum som pt fungerer som vækst rum, men som skal laves til blomstringsrum, og til det kommende vækstrum, MH lamper, lysstofrør til vegge, varmelegmer til hydro moderplanter, ventilation og alt det andet kommende guf.
Det er ikke alle og enhver vi lige vil have op og rode med strøm til rummet, så vi må pt vente pænt indtil den elektrikker vi kender og stoler på har tid.

De er godt nok kun til eget forbrug til undertegnede og min ( store) vennekreds, men vil helst ikke komme i en situation hvor jeg skal forklare dette til enten strømerne og/eller en dommer, så tager mine forholdsregler i den retning udfra devicen:

Bruger altid proxy server, dvs fake ip, når jeg besøger canna forums, bestiller frø, rygegrej osv.
Får altid ovennævnte sendt til en god bekendt osv.
