Jeg har i denne periode af mit forhold til cannabis (har røget meget hash for 2 år siden men stoppede igen og nu for et halvt år siden gik jeg over til en eller to gange ugenligt at ryge god pot eller skunk kun) næsten hver gang fået "underlige tanker" som var ret ubehagelige og som jeg gerne ville skubbe væk fordi de netop som du siger, gør rusen til noget negativt.
Jeg tillader lige at citere Mckenna vedr. Bad Trips her, får jeg synes det går ind under lidt det samme:

If you use psychedelics I can assure you will leave the broad swift stream of mundane thinking but what I can't give you in return, is that I can't guarantee you that it will be fun. You know, The Rolling Stones had that wonderful line: "you don't get what you wan't, you get what you need." This stuff is ruthless and if there's something that you're trying not to look at, it's gonna get you for sure! But most people say that you learn more from the bad trips, than from the good ones. The good ones are ecstatic and connect you up to nature and other people, the bad ones show you your limitations and your thought errors and that sort of thing. It's not an easy road to hoe and that's why I think there's a little social confusion about it.
Jeg har også erfaret at man enten skal undlade at ryge den dag hvis man kan mærke at der ligger noget negativt og lurer i underbevidstheden eller man kan se om man kan lokalisere problemet, hvis det nu bare er en ubehagelig samtale i banken eller med kæresten osv der skal overståes, kan man få det ud af verden før man ryger eller man kan ryge og så face it.
