ETHEREther is a general anesthetic belonging to the sedative-hypnotic group of compounds. Misuse is extremely dangerous and can easily lead to death.
Pure, raw ether (very hard to get) consists of a volatile liquid (like gasolene) which gives off an explosive vapor. It is sold as automotive "starting fluid" - these products are intentionally mixed with strong irritants to prevent misuse)
The effects are rapid and impossible to control once the drug enters the body...
* Relief from anxiety
* Release of inhibition (giddiness, laughing)
* Floating euphoria (can lead to temporary disconnection from all bodily sensation)
* Profound sedation (sleepiness, unsteadiness)
* General anesthesia (total loss of conciousness)
* Coma (unrousable sleep)
* Death
